Artists
NOMO
NOMO is a New York based collective of media and video artists. Founded in 2004 by Peter Norrman and Jeff Morey, NOMOs work explores and re-conceptualizes the boundaries of the moving image, time and architecture through the use of found footage, large scale projections, and software manipulated live participatory video. As independent artists, both Norrman and Morey have frequently collaborated with David Byrne, The Builders Association (Alladeen, Snowday and Super Vision), Lyn Rice Architects, 3-Legged Dog, Ben Rubin, Diller&Scofidio, GMHC (the Museum of the City of New York), motiroti (London).

Jacqueline Passmore
Jacqueline Passmore is a visual artist who works with experimental
film and video, live video performance and installation. From 2003-2006 she toured
internationally with musicians including seminal female-led
electronic groups Stereolab and Ladytron performing critically
acclaimed live-mix performances of her own hand-manipulated film and
video artwork across Europe, Asia, and North and South America

Addictive TV
DJ/producers Addictive TV are a total audiovisual experience driven by their
fast-paced breakbeat AV remixes and video mash-ups. Praised by the likes of
Grandmaster Flash, Moby, Stereo MC's and Kraftwerk's Karl Bartos, they've

Film makers and visual artists Robin McNicholas, Matt Bateman and Rob Slater
are collectively known as Flat-e. They have collaborated with artists and organisations such as Aphex Twin and the

Kinetic Fallacy
Based in Liverpool, England, Kinetic Fallacy uses live multi-media visuals and electronic music performance. Previous gigs include 'The Big Chill festival' in Herefordshire, UK, House of Commons, Commonwealth Film festival.
Emma Welsby and Hannah Peel combine an eclectic and heady mix of samples with live performance music set to the backdrop of a rare blend of film and VJing. Using laptops to trigger beats and bass whilst also playing electric violin, marimba, vibraphone, piano, trombone, percussion and decks live - they have created tunes that sync directly to the visuals and live VJing.

Bike in Movie Theatre
Monday 15th September 2008 - 8pm
'The Living City' The static Gallery, Roscoe Street
The Living City Bike-in screening is a free, public, open-air film screening
event modelled after the classic American drive-in movie theatre.
The Bike in will invite carbon neutral attendees such as bicyclists,
pedestrians and skateboarders to a curated program of international and local
short films which celebrate and explore experimental uses of urban
environment.
After the event a cycle pilgrimage route will be given to all bikers and
attendees to make their way down to the Mersey Air vent to see the opening
of the urban city video installation which will be projected onto the whole
of the South Facing side of the vent!!
